Open Call for Performance Artists
Action Artists, and Art Performers

Performance Artists, Action Artists, and Art Performers are invited to submit proposals for Starta Arta’s performance exhibition. All works are to be live, and a maximum of approximately 10-15 minutes long (no videos). Starta Arta curators are looking for creative, original content that is appropriate for an indoor performance in our gallery in the Gramercy neighborhood in New York City. Tech support and extensive set-ups may be challenging in the space but will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Audio speakers are available.

StartaArta will host a performance exhibition. This is not a thematic evening, however it compliments the exhibition Alternate Side Parking. All reasonable submittals will be considered by the Starta Arta curators. We are looking for approximately three performances.

No application fee is required for the show's performance application.

INSTRUCTIONS:

• Performances should be no longer than 15 minutes

• Artists can Include links to one video of the proposed performance on the application form

• Individual image files (3 maximum) to be no larger than 2 MG

• Artist contact Information (name, address, phone, email, website)

• Artist CV

• Material/Props will be considered, depending on complexity and size

• Artist’s short bio summarizing the major artistic achievements

• Starta Arta reserves the right to reach out to each artist for additional details if necessary.
